KST and ArthroStim: questions for your chiropractic visit
Understand the terms, read the supplied brochures, and bring your questions.

If you have seen KST or ArthroStim mentioned on our chiropractic page, you may be wondering how those names relate to an appointment. Start with the resources Dr. Heidi has shared, then use your visit to ask how her approach relates to your own concerns.
An evaluation approach and an adjusting instrument
At Healing Energies, Dr. Heidi offers Koren Specific Technique (KST) alongside traditional chiropractic adjusting. ArthroStim is the adjusting instrument referenced in the practice’s materials. These terms describe parts of the service; they do not tell you which approach will be recommended at your visit.
The KST brochure and ArthroStim brochure are available to read before your appointment. Keep a note of any unfamiliar terms rather than feeling that you need to understand every detail in advance.
Questions to bring to Dr. Heidi
- What does your evaluation involve, and what will you be looking for?
- What is the difference between a manual adjustment and the instrument-assisted approach you are considering for me?
- What might I feel during the visit, and how can I communicate my comfort preferences?
- What findings would change your recommendation?
- How will we review my progress and decide on the next step?
Mention previous experiences with chiropractic care, including anything you found uncomfortable. This gives the conversation a practical starting point.
Read, watch, then discuss
Dr. Heidi has also shared a new-patient video explaining her approach. Reading the brochures or watching the video can help you prepare questions, but an individual appointment is where you discuss your circumstances.
For preparation beyond the techniques themselves, see our first chiropractic visit guide. It covers what information to bring and the practice’s process for discussing financial details.
